Q. When I make a post what happens next?
Your post is first presented on City Information Center and then also presented on city-specific information center associated topics based on your post tags.
The five most recent posts are presented on each city-specific information center topic based on post tags.
Q. How do I get my post to display on a city-specific information center?
Tag your post following the tagging tips provided on each city topic. Example if you have a post you want displayed on the Denver Information Center Festivals topic, simply tag your post "Denver Festivals". For additional display follow the tagging tips provided.
Q. What are the guidelines for making posts?
City Information Center Etiquette: Try to...
Be positive. Try to be helpful with your posts.
Be creative. The best blogs mix interests, products, services, activities, business, hobbies and causes. Try to post about things you and others find useful, inspiring or entertaining.
Switch it up. Try to post on a variety of topics.
Keep it smooth. The best publishers use an editorial calendar to post on a consistent basis. Try not to post too often or too infrequently.
Give credit. If you blog about an item you found somewhere, it's nice to credit your fellow publishers by linking back to the original spot.

You can get started by first updating your profile and then posting a few of your highlights.
Q. What are the selected highlights on each city-specific information center topic?
Each city-specific information center topic has 1-10 selected highlights. Editors working with City Information Center select these highlights and often select members of the City Information Center; but there is no guarantee to any member that you will be selected in these highlights.

Q. Can I buy a spot on a city-specific information center?
City Publishing Members can optionally buy Featured Spots to get additional highlights presented. The featured spots presented on city-specific information center topics are designed with this purpose in mind; to enable members to further highlight people, companies, organizations and activities in a city.
After signing up for City Publishing your account will be reviewed and verified. See account verification guidelines below. Once your account is verified you will then have the option to buy the Featured Spots subscription.
The Featured Spots subscription costs $250 per year Save 50% and your featured spots are presented on five topics on a city-specific information center. Editors working with City Information Center select these five topics and create your featured spots for you based on your product and service. Your Featured Spots are presented on each of the selected five topics.
The Featured Spots subscriptions is an optional publishing service and availability is on a first-come, first choice basis.
Q. I have a City Publishing account. Why don’t I see the option to buy a Featured Spots subscription?
After signing up for City Publishing your account is reviewed and verified. Once an account is verified the option to buy a Featured Spots subscription is presented. Account verification guidelines are listed below.
